HOW IT ALL STARTED

Were we born boaters? No.
Did we boat as children? Not really.....unless canoeing counts.
Did we boat for the first ... 20...years of our marriage?  Not unless you count our 11' inflatible boat.

But back in 2001 we got an 18' pontoon boat with camper canvas and that winter Craig signed us up to join a group of boats (40+) doing a three week cruise of the New York State Canal System - Canal Cruise 2002.  It changed our lives! During those wonderful, heady days we learned about so much about boating and heard tales of cruising places like The Rideau Canal, The Trent Severn Canal, The Great Circle. We were hooked! All we needed was a sturdier boat so we could cross big waters like Lake Ontario. One winter evening Craig spotted a lovely looking craft online - a RF246 Rosborough. By the next May we owned one and each summer since we have cruised for weeks on end.
